哪里不一样 -- 有病就要「治」，要用cure还是heal？

cure、heal、treat都带有医治的意思，我们可以根据受伤部位或治愈与否来区分不同用法。

cure (v.) 治疗、使恢复健康

较针对内伤或生理疾病(disease、illness)的治疗，通常带有「已治愈」的含义。另也可当名词使用，有疗方、对策的意思。

Covid-19 poses a significant threat for humanity and doctors still haven't found a way to completely cure patients.

新冠病毒构成人类的重大威胁，但医生仍无法完全地治愈病毒。

heal (v.) 治愈、愈合

较偏向外伤(wound、 injury)或心理、情感伤口上的愈合。 跟cure一样带有「已治愈」的意思。

A broken heart takes a long time to heal.
受伤的心需要很长的时间才能愈合。

treat (v.) 治疗

无论哪种疾病或伤口都可使用，通常treat强调治疗中的过程或手段。相对于cure与heal都带有「痊愈」的意思，treat则是「正在医治」。

According to a laboratory report, that the new drug may be used to treat cancer.

根据实验室报告，新药或许可以治疗癌症。
